Foreman (M/V) (fulltime)

Naturally, you will work hard and set a good example. The team you will manage will consist of 15-20 people, but may be further expanded. The working environment is informal and there is room for personal development.

What will you do:

As a foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department. You coordinate the work, cooperate and supervise the expedition employees/order pickers/reachtruck drivers. In addition, your duties consist of:

• Distributing work, assigning employees and coordinating this with colleagues
• Managing teams of about 15-20 employees and training new employees
• Solving problems, if necessary in consultation with the team leader
• Contributing ideas to improve working methods and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures

 This job suits you perfectly if you:

As a foreman, you work result-oriented and customer-focused. A proactive and solution-oriented attitude is very important. You are enthusiastic and project this to inspire the employees. You can communicate well in English and are not afraid to give feedback.

• MBO working and thinking level
• Experience in a management role is a plus
• Good verbal English
• Dutch is an advantage

! A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required for this role.

 We offer you:

• A salary starting at €2.700 and shift allowance
• A 38-hour workweek with the intention of a permanent contract
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment
• Travel allowance (for commuting distance >10 km)

Working hours*:

A 2-shift job, including saturday once every two to three weeks:
